Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. Her starring role on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick received two Emmy Awards in 2010 and 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The seventh season of the series concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role as a regular on Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992) as well as Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was an New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was teacher and family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI who was an investor in venture capital. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick has stated that she is Jewish and participates in Passover meals.
